WPL 2023, Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians Highlights: Yastika Bhatia scored 41 runs as Mumbai Indians chased down a target of 106 runs in 15 overs to register their third consecutive win in the ongoing Women’s Premier League. With the victory, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side also conslidated its top spot in the points table. Earlier, Saika Ishaque, Issy Wong and Hayley Matthews claimed three wickets apiece as MI bundled out Delhi Capitals for 105 runs. Meg Lanning scored 43 runs and Jemimah Rodrigues hit quickfire 25, but they lacked support from other batters. Earlier, DC skipper Lanning won the toss and opted to bat first in the game on Thursday. (SCORECARD)

UP Warriorz Women vs Gujarat Giants Women, WPL 2023 Highlights: Grace Harris played a blinder as UP Warriorz defeated Gujarat Giants by 3 wickets in a last-over thriller at the DY Patil Stadium on Sunday. The right-handed batter scored 59 not out off 26 balls. Her innings was laced with seven fours and three sixes. UP Warriorz needed 53 runs off the last three overs, and Harris took them home with one ball to spare. Kim Garth claimed a five-wicket haul for Gujarat Giants, but her effort went in vain as Harris stole the show on Sunday night. Earlier, Harleen Deol’s 46 had helped Gujarat Giants post 169 for 6. Sophie Ecclestone and Deepti Sharma had scalped two wickets apiece. Gujarat Giants stand-in skipper Sneh Rana had won the toss and opted to bat first. (SCORECARD)

Ireland steadied their innings after Amy Hunter was run out while Renuka Singh made short work of Orla Prendergast. Smriti Mandhana was the top performer for India with a 56-ball-87 as India register 155/6 against Ireland in their Group B encounter. Mandhana stitched together a 50-run partnership with Shafali Verma and although wickets fell in a heap at one point, she continued to play confidently. IND vs WI, Women’s T20 World Cup Highlights: Deepti Sharma and Rich Ghosh shone as India defeated West Indies by six wickets in their in their Women’s T20 World Cup Group 2 match at Newlands in Cape Town on Wednesday. Opted to bat first, West Indies lost some initial wickets but Stafanie Taylor smashed 42 off 40 balls and kept the momentum towards her side. However, Deepti scalped three wickets and Pooja Vastrakar and Renuka Singh also scalped one wicket each as West Indies were restricted at 118/6. Later, Richa Ghosh remained unbeaten at 44 and Harmanpreet also scored 33 as India registered a 6-wicket win with 11 balls to spare. This was India’s second win in the tournament while i was the second loss for West Indies. (SCORECARD)

India vs Pakistan Women’s T20 World Cup Match Highlights: Top knocks from Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh, propelled India to a seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in the Group B match at the 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup. Opted to bat first, Pakistan lost some initial wickets but a half-century from Bismah Maroof and an unbeaten knock of 43* runs from Ayesha Naseem, guided them to a total of 149/4 in 20 overs. Later, India lost an early wicket of Yastika Bhatia, which was followed by the dismissals of Shafali Verma and Harmanpreet Kaur. However, Jemimah struck an unbeaten partnership with Richa Ghosh (31*) and brought up her ninth T20I half-century off 38 balls, to take India across the line with an over to spare. India vs Australia, 1st Test Day 2 Highlights: Rohit Sharma’s 120 and 66 and 52 from Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel, respectively, helped India continue their dominance on the second day as well. India were 321 for 7 at stumps on Friday with a lead of 144 runs over the guests. Australia did a decent job with the ball with wickets at regular intervals but knocks of Rohit, Jadeja and Axar kept India in the driver’s seat throughout the day. Todd Murphy returned a five-wicket haul, but lacked support from other bowlers. On Thursday, Australia skipper Pat Cummins had won the toss and opted to bat first. India vs Australia, 1st Test Day 2 Live Updates: Rohit Sharma has kept India in the driver’s seat with his 9th Test century asRavindra Jadeja holds the other end tight. India went five down after Nathan Lyon cleaned up Suryakumar Yadav but the duo of Rohit and Jadeja have kept the hosts going. The rest four Indian wickets have been claimed by Australia’s debutant off-spinner Todd Murphy. On Day 1, India had posted 77 for 1 after bundling out Australia for 177. Ravindra Jadeja did bulk of the bowling, earning his 11th five-for (5 for 47) in 22 overs that helped India skittle Australia out for a paltry total after the visitors decided to take the first strike in the series-opener.
