Gautam Gambhir, who is reported to be the front-runner for the coach’s post, has had some demands regarding his support staff. He has also received some interesting suggestions. Currently, Vikram Rathour is the batting coach, Paras Mhambrey is the bowling coach while T Dillip is the fielding coach. SRH vs RR IPL 2024 Qualifier 2 Highlights: SunRisers Hyderabad beat Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs in Qualifer 2 game of IPL 2024 in Chennai on Friday. SRH thus set up a final clash with Shah Rukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders at the same venue. The summit clash will take place on May 26. Talking about the game on Friday, pace duo of Trent Boult and Avesh Khan snapped three wickets each but SRH managed to post a competitive 175 for nine. Apart from Boult (3/45) and Avesh Khan (3/27), Sandeep Sharma (2/25) also claimed two wickets after RR won the toss and elected to bowl. For SRH, Heinrich Klaasen top-scored with a 34-ball 50, while Travis Head (34), Rahul Tripathi (37) got starts but couldn’t stay longer. In reply, RR were restricted to 139 for 7 in 20 overs, thanks to Shahbaz Ahmed’s 3 for 23. SRH owner Kavya Maran was ecstatic as the side made it to IPL final after 6 years. KKR vs SRH IPL 2024 Qualifier 1, Highlights: Venkatesh Iyer and Shreyas Iyer both slammed half-centuries as Kolkata Knight Riders defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets to reach the IPL 2024 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Earlier, Mitchell Starc took three wickets, Sunil Narine took two while Andre Russell, Vaibhav Arora, Harshit Rana and Varun Chakravarthy claimed one each to bundle out SRH for 159. In a tournament like this, momentum is really important, we have seen RCB winning their matches and gaining the momentum even we wanted that momentum, so we wanted to go out and wanted the rain to stop but it was disappointing. But, we were the table toppers and we have got a lot of support from the management. It is always special for players like us to play in the IPL final, it’s a dreamy moment for us, going to Chennai and looking forward to it. We were raring to go out there, when you have the momentum you want to really go out there. You saw Rinku fielding in hot spots and taking those catches, it’s the excitement we have to go out there and perform.

    Yeah we will try to put this behind quickly, good thing we will have a crack at it (second qualifier). You have those days in T20 cricket where things doesn’t quite work out. Thought KKR bowled really well, there was a little bit in it early on and the surface got better. KKR vs SRH IPL 2024 Qualifier 1, Highlights: Venkatesh Iyer and Shreyas Iyer both slammed half-centuries as Kolkata Knight Riders defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets to reach the IPL 2024 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Earlier, Mitchell Starc took three wickets, Sunil Narine took two while Andre Russell, Vaibhav Arora, Harshit Rana and Varun Chakravarthy claimed one each to bundle out SRH for 159. You saw Rinku fielding in hot spots and taking those catches, it’s the excitement we have to go out there and perform.

Stubbs and Porel guided DC to a big total of 208/4 and although Nicholas Pooran and Arshad Khan slammed half-centuries, LSG could only manage 189/9. DC will now have to depend on other results in order to qualify for the playoffs while LSG still have a game in hand but their Net Run Rate can prove to be a big problem. MI vs KKR Highlights, IPL 2024: Kolkata Knight Riders beat Mumbai Indians by 24 runs at Wankhede Stadium. Chasing 170-run target, MI were bundled out for 145. Earlier, MI bowled out KKR for 169. Nuwan Thushara claimed three wickets inside the powerplay to dent KKR’s start but a solid partnership of 83 runs between Venkatesh Iyer (70 off 52) and Manish Pandey (42 off 31) led the two-time champions’ fightback. IPL 2024, CSK vs SRH Highlights: Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad missed his second successive IPL century by a whisker, while pacers Tushar Deshpande and Matheesha Pathirana decimated the Sunrisers Hyderabad batting as Chennai Super Kings won their IPL home game by 78 runs at MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday. After Gaikwad scored a 54-ball 98 and shared a 107-run partnership with Daryl Mitchell (52) to give CSK a healthy 212/3, Deshpande (4/27) and Sri Lankan Pathirana (2/17) came up with match-winning bowling figures to dismiss SRH for 134 in 18.5 overs. Deshpande took the wickets of opener Travis Head (13) and Anmolpreet Singh (0) in his first over before getting rid of Abhishek Sharma (15) and captain Pat Cummins (5), while Pathirana got the dangerous Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen to demolish SRH.
