India vs Bangladesh 1st Test Day 4 Highlights: Ravichandran Ashwin picked up the 37th five-wicket haul of his career to take India to an emphatic 280-run win over Bangladesh in the first Test in Chennai. He adds this alongside an exceptional century from the first innings to complete a dream game in his home ground. India vs China Hockey Highlights: Defending champions India completed a fighting 1-0 victory over hosts China to claim their fifth Asian Champions Trophy hockey title. It was not easy for Harmanpreet Singh and Co as the Paris Olympics bronze medallist failed to break the Chinese defence in the first three quarters. Eventually, defender Jugraj Singh broke the deadlock as he scored a rare field goal in the 51st minute to hand his team the title. Earlier in the day, Pakistan defeated Korea 5-2 to claim the third spot in the six-team competition.

India vs South Korea Hockey Highlights: India put up a spectacular performance to beat Korea Republic 4-1 in the semi-final of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024, and book their spot in the final against China. Captain Harmanpreet Singh led from the front, converting two penalty corners, and taking his goal tally to seven in the tournament. Uttam Singh gave India the lead, while Jarmanpreet scored the third. Korea pulled one back in the third quarter, but much like in the league phase, it was nothing but a consolation.

Neeraj Chopra, Diamond League Final 2024 Highlights: Neeraj Chopra missed out on the Diamond League title by just 0.01m as he finished second for the second consecutive year with a best throw of 87.86m. Neeraj achieved his best throw of the day in his third attempt. Granada’s Anderson Peters claimed the crown with a 87.87m effort. Julian Weber of Germany was third with 85.97m. Earlier, Neeraj Chopra missed out on the gold medal as he had to settle for sliver at the Paris Olympics 2024.

India vs Japan, Asian Champions Trophy 2024, Highlights: India produced an utterly dominant performance as they took on Japan in their second men’s hockey Asian Champions Trophy match on Monday. India made their intent clear with 2 goals in the opening two minutes of the game to leave Japan stunned. India started quarter 2 in a similar fashion, making it 3-0 early to put Japan under pressure. At half-time, the India managed to keep their slate clean, heading into the third quarter with a 3-0 lead. Japan managed to start a fightback, scoring their first goal of the game in Quarter 3 through Kazumasa Matsumoto. After a blank Quarter 3, India made it 4-1 in the 4th and final quarter through Uttam Singh. Sukhjeet scored the 5th and final goal of India in the last quarter to help India secure 5-1 win, maintain 100% record.

2024 Paralympics LIVE Updates: India’s male para badminton stars Sukant Kadam and Suhas Yathiraj scripted dramatic victories in their opening men’s singles SL3 matches. Earlier, India’s para badminton women’s singles star Manasi Joshi narrowly lost to Indonesian number 1 seed Qonita Syakuroh in the SL3 category, in a third game decider. India’s Paralympics 2024 journey started in para badminton in an all-India clash, as the mixed doubles duo of Nitesh Kumar and Thulasimathi Murugesan beat compatriots Suhas Yathiraj and Palak Kohli. However, this was followed by a loss for duo Sivarajan Solaimalai and Nithya Sre Sivan.
