RR vs MI Live Score: Here’s what MI skipper Sanju Samson said at the toss

“We had a slightly different idea about the toss so it’s okay. You know the nature of the tournament, it’s a very long tournament, we had a five day break and we discussed about our plans, it’s about focusing about the system and the process. We have played lots of games here, we know how the wicket behaves. MI are known to come back hard in the tournament so we have to play well. • 18:51 (IST)

RR vs MI Live Score: Pitch report

“There’s been four games (at this venue this season), teams batting first have won twice, teams fielding first have also won twice. Spinners haven’t necessarily dominated over seamers. When you look at the team scores, they have been around 180-190, high, but not too high at the same time. Tonight, we are in the middle as well – boundary sizes square – 67m either side, straight – 76m. This pitch looks very very beautiful, it’s dry, it’s hard and it’s even. Why isn’t there a score over 200? I think one of the reasons is players presently like bounce and there’s not a lot of moisture in this pitch,” said Natalie Germanos and Brian Lara.

  • 18:28 (IST)

RR vs MI Live Score: RR’s strong batting

For RR, Riyan Parag has been the batter of the season. The young Assam batter has reinvented himself and his 318 runs is one of the reasons why RR find themselves at the top of the pecking order. While the batting has revolved around him, skipper Sanju Samson too has produced some fine knocks for the team, aggregating 276 runs so far.

RCB vs SRH Live Score: Express pace

Time for Lockie Ferguson. This is the first match for the fast bowler in RCB colours and he adds a slightly different flavour to their bowling attack which has struggled massively in this year’s IPL. Can he be the game changer for RCB?

    SRG 44/0 after 4.2 overs

  • 19:43 (IST)

RCB vs SRH Live Score: More misery

    SRH 36/0 after 3.1 overs

  • 19:40 (IST)

RCB vs SRH Live Score: 20 runs in one over

Recee Topley has conceded 20 runs in his first over! Absolute carnage from Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head. 1, 4, 6, 2, 1, 6 – This is the perfect start for SRH. Can RCB fight back?

    SRH 28/0 after 2 overs

  • 19:34 (IST)

RCB vs SRH Live Score: A positive start

A tidy over from Will Jacks but nothing dangerous. He stuck to a conventional line and length but it was not enough to bother Abhishek Sharma. A boundary for the left-hander and an overall positive start for the batting side.

    SRH 7/0 after 1 over

  • 19:30 (IST)
