India vs Ireland, Women’s T20 World Cup Highlights: India entered the Women’s T20 World Cup semifinals after beating Ireland by five runs (DLS). Rain stopped play with India ahead on DLS method against Ireland. With 59 being the par score after 8.2 overs, Ireland are currently 54 for the loss of two wickets. Ireland steadied their innings after Amy Hunter was run out while Renuka Singh made short work of Orla Prendergast. Smriti Mandhana was the top performer for India with a 56-ball-87 as India register 155/6 against Ireland in their Group B encounter. Mandhana stitched together a 50-run partnership with Shafali Verma and although wickets fell in a heap at one point, she continued to play confidently. Jemimah Rodrigues ended the innings well with a hard-fought 19. For Ireland, Laura Delany took three wickets while Prendergast took two. (HIGHLIGHTS)

India vs West Indies, Women’s T20 World Cup: India defeat WI by 6 wickets© AFP




IND vs WI, Women’s T20 World Cup Highlights: Deepti Sharma and Rich Ghosh shone as India defeated West Indies by six wickets in their in their Women’s T20 World Cup Group 2 match at Newlands in Cape Town on Wednesday. Opted to bat first, West Indies lost some initial wickets but Stafanie Taylor smashed 42 off 40 balls and kept the momentum towards her side. However, Deepti scalped three wickets and Pooja Vastrakar and Renuka Singh also scalped one wicket each as West Indies were restricted at 118/6. Later, Richa Ghosh remained unbeaten at 44 and Harmanpreet also scored 33 as India registered a 6-wicket win with 11 balls to spare. This was India’s second win in the tournament while i was the second loss for West Indies. (SCORECARD)

India vs Pakistan Women’s T20 World Cup Match Highlights: Top knocks from Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh, propelled India to a seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in the Group B match at the 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup. Opted to bat first, Pakistan lost some initial wickets but a half-century from Bismah Maroof and an unbeaten knock of 43* runs from Ayesha Naseem, guided them to a total of 149/4 in 20 overs. Later, India lost an early wicket of Yastika Bhatia, which was followed by the dismissals of Shafali Verma and Harmanpreet Kaur. However, Jemimah struck an unbeaten partnership with Richa Ghosh (31*) and brought up her ninth T20I half-century off 38 balls, to take India across the line with an over to spare. For Pakistan, Nashra Sandhu scalped two wickets and leaked only 15 runs in 4 overs. (SCORECARD)
