India vs Bangladesh Second Test Day 2 Live Updates: The latest update from Day 2 of the India vs Bangladesh 2nd Tests is that the conditions are better, the light has improved and rain has stopped. The super soppers are in action but there is a lot of water on the covers. The first session of the second day of was washed out. Both the Indian cricket team and the Bangladesh cricket team have left for the hotel. The whole Green Park Stadium ground is under covers. Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim were on 40 and 6 respectively on Saturday. Rain forced early Stumps on the opening day of the second Test. Akash Deep struck twice on Day 1 to reduce Bangladesh to 29 for 2 before the visitors made a bit of recovery. Ravichandran Ashwin claimed the third wicket of Bangladesh. India vs Bangladesh 1st Test Day 3 Highlights: Chasing an improbable target of 515, Bangladesh slumped to 158/4 in the 1st Test against India as early stumps was taken on Day 3 owing to bad light. The play was initially stopped despite India skipper Rohit Sharma’s request of continuing with spin. However, the players were asked to leave the field by the umpires, who eventually decided that a resumption wasn’t possible. There will be 9:20 PM IST start of Sunday, instead of 9:30 PM to make for the lost time. Earlier, India declared their second innings at 287/4 on Day 3 of the first Test against Bangladesh. Shubman Gill (119*) and Rishabh Pant (109) were the main architects of India’s innings as they hammered brilliant centuries. (Scorecard)

Led by Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 33, India scored 81 for 3 at the end of play on Friday. Earlier, Jasprit Bumrah’s powerful spell (4 for 50) helped India bundle out Bangladesh for 149 runs. Bumrah scalped four wickets while Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja, and Akash Deep scalped two wickets each. For Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan was the top scorer with 32 runs. India vs China, Asian Champions Trophy 2024 Highlights: Defending champions India defeated China 3-0 in their campaign opener at the Men’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024 on Sunday. Paris Olympics 2024 Day 15 Live Updates: The final Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruling on the Vinesh Phogat silver medal appeal has been deferred to August 11, 9:30pm IST. The Indian athlete was disqualified hours before her final bout in the women’s freestyle 50kg for missing the weight limit by 100g. Not only this, Vinesh was stripped of the silver medal she was assured of. Whether the Indian athlete will be given a silver medal or not will be decided by the CAS by the end of the day tomorrow (Sunday). Earlier in the day, Indian wrestler Reetika Hooda lost to top seed Aiperi Medet Kyzy of Kyrgyzstan in quarterfinals of Women’s 76kg event at Paris Olympics. (India’s Day 15 Schedule | Medals Tally)
