Karn Sharma

Karn Sharma has been a wicket-taker for RCB in IPL 2024. The 36-year-old leg-spinner has scalped six wickets in as many matches. Karn can also contribute with bat coming lower down the batting order. He will be crucial against a strong DC batting line-up.

Mohammed Siraj

Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been the leading wicket-taker for RCB this season. The right-arm pacer has bagged 11 wickets in as many matches. While Siraj has been a touch expensive in IPL 2024, he can provide early breakthroughs in the powerplays. Siraj will aim to remove the likes of Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abishek Porel on Sunday.

Lockie Ferguson

New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson has been a great inclusion in RCB’s playing XI. The right-arm pacer has claimed five wickets in four matches in IPL 2024 so far. Ferguson could play an important role in the middle and death overs against DC at the Chinnaswamy.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya’s unbeaten 59 and Mohammed Shami’s four-wicket haul went in vain. Earlier, Shami’s brilliant spell helped GT restrict DC to 130 for 8 in 20 overs. Shami returned figures of 4 for 11, while Mohit Sharma (2/33) and Rashid Khan (1/28) were also among wickets as the GT bowlers were right on the money. Earlier, Rohit Sharma’s 120 and Axar Patel’s 84 steered India to 400 all out, helping the side take a first innings lead of 223 runs. Todd Murphy claimed seven wickets but lacked an equally good support from the other Australian bowlers. Visiting skipper Pat Cummins had opted to bat first in the game.
