The Role

As a Contract Specialist – Sales Support, your main responsibilities will be to work closely with our sales organization and assist them on many different types of contract-related legal questions as well as interfacing directly with customers in contract negotiation and drafting/revisions of contracts in the red-line process. You will interact with our Legal organization to ensure alignment with applicable policies and positions. You will also work on routine legal matters, preparing legal documents to be sent outside the company and internally.

The Main Responsibilities

Assist sales team with contract drafting and negotiations with customers.
Be the focal point for day-to-day legal matters on which the sales teams need assistance and be the liaison between the sales teams and the legal team as well as offer management.
Work cross functionally with other organizations on gaining language approvals that impact those organizations, including but not limited to Service Level Agreement (SLA) approval from Engineering and Operations, performance commitments from Product, customer experience from CARE, and others.
Work to develop playbook language as well as contract templates for larger customers.
Assist sales team with contract cancellations and requests to cure.
Assist in contract language and negotiation training for the teams.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Bachelor’s degree (Law degree would be preferred)
2+ years of experience
Ability to make decisions and communicate effectively with others.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to deal with sensitive and discreet issues.
Fluent in the English Language
High level of integrity and ethical conduct
Proficient in MS Office
Experience using Salesforce.com
Experience in telecommunications is preferred
