Urgent food recall warnings issued by Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and M&S

Brits have been warned to check the contents of their Christmas shopping following food recall warnings from four major supermarkets.

Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and M&S have all issued recalls in recent days, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The food warnings have unfortunately come as Brits have just gathered on Christmas day to share food and break bread.

The recalls are due to the fact that some products contain ingredients not mentioned on their labels, said the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

When a product is recalled, the FSA shares what you should do if you have bought the item, as well as detailed information on why the product is being pulled from shelves.

Here’s the full list of products that have been recalled in the past week.
