If You Took Away White MAGA Dudes’ Masculine Insecurities, They’d Have Nothing Left

We mean every word of that headline.

This article is about Charlie Kirk, but you could say the same for all the Daily Wire guys and Donald Trump Jr. and pretty much every other white conservative MAGA dude these days. We’ve long noted it about Tucker Carlson. (Who just got finished doing an interview with creep Andrew Tate that was pretty much just Tucker drinking Tate’s bathwater, something he’s clearly been pining to do. Tate of course has been charged with rape and human trafficking, something conservatives are tying themselves in knots trying to pretend they care about at the moment.)

Some of them would be left with a husk of creepy, stupid religious beliefs, but even those are tied up in their masculinity issues.

Charlie Kirk gave the weirdest demonstration of this yesterday on his show. We are not even sure where to start making fun of this clip, but did you know that nobody who has become strong as a result of going to the gym is a liberal? Or rather, did you know that’s something Charlie Kirk’s psyche needs to believe for some demented and sad reason?

Kirk was bitching about some MSNBC article from last summer, about how there is a trend within white fascist male (read: masculine insecure) communities that ties their political beliefs in with mixed martial arts and boxing, groups that pull in white supremacists and Nazis and more. But of course, Charlie Kirk doesn’t have much formal education, which might be why his stated comprehension of the article is poor.

Which must be why he said:

CHARLIE KIRK: A society that is eating well, eating clean, intermittent fasting, not taking processed foods, has their testosterone rates properly balanced, understands their hormones, taking supplements, is properly hydrating, is pushing themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, that makes tyranny harder to become popular. A society that is individually full of millions of strong people, a tyrant — how, how is Gavin Newsom or J.B Pritzker going to take control of their lives, it’s like screw you!

Yes, indeed, a society that does intermittent fasting and drinks enough water is fully equipped to fight back against, ahem, Gavin Newsom. Sure thing. Totally regular and normal thing to say right there.

Kirk said he thinks men are working out right now because there’s a “tribal signal that’s subconsciously going off” because society is falling apart. You know, because of the “moral and societal decay” and the “open borders.” It’s sending the young men to the gym, in a tribal signal way. You bet.

It got weirder, because Charlie was still mad about the article that talked about how Nazis are using MMA and boxing to recruit. He was upset about lines in it that say things like, “The intersection of extremism and fitness leans into a shared obsession with the male body, training, masculinity, testosterone, strength and competition.” (LOL show us the lie. These fucking weirdos are literally obsessed with testosterone levels, sperm counts and ball tanning these days.)

Tucker Says Low Testosterone Matters And Size Matters And Big Things Are Very Scary

And Now For The Sperm Report, With Tucker Carlson!

Alex Jones So Excited Tucker Shot Part Of His Little Weenus-Tanning Documentary On His Property

And Charlie had another theory, about what the Left wants men to do. Did you know the Left does not want people to work out? Did you know the Left wants people to be weak? Did you know that Charlie is misunderstanding the MSNBC article he’s mad about, either intentionally or not, to mean that MSNBC is saying that all fitness is a right-wing thing, and the Left is the opposite?

He made a crack about how the “gay mafia” is definitely more obsessed with the male body than the Nazi weirdos who make up the American conservative movement these days, and then he made that face above. And then he said:

KIRK: They want men to become metrosexual betas of low testosterone that are androgynous consumers that sit on their tail all day long that have no muscle mass, no desire, no purpose. They want you depressed, they want you weak, and they want you easily controlled.

LMAO, amazing. Again, it’s hard to figure out where to start making fun of this.

Aside from the fact that he whined about low testosterone five seconds after making a juvenile crack about the “gay mafia,” we can note that he used the term “metrosexual,” a word no normal person has used since 1995. The only people who still use that word are white shut-in conservatives who are furious that homophobes are now societal rejects. It’s literally a word that was invented to give straight men a pathway to take baths, trim their pubes and wear clothes that fit without being called gay. It simply has no cultural relevance in 2023. (And it never meant “weak.”)

Yet here is Charlie Kirk saying it to other milquetoast lunatics who probably also say it.

Kirk babbled and babbled about the Left wanting people who don’t ask questions and don’t resist tyranny, and continued:

KIRK: The Great Reset relies upon the masculine firewall, the masculine bulwark, to be obedient or abolished. So they label it as toxic masculinity.

LMAO, okeydoke.

If only men like Charlie Kirk stand up and shake around their testosterones, the Left’s evil plans could be thwarted! The masculine firewall! The masculine bulwark!

Charlie babbled some more about testosterone rates (but remember, only the “gay mafia” is obsessed with the male body). He whined that men who point out dropping testosterone rates are labeled as extremists. He made fun of the author of the MSNBC article and said “she looks like a wonderful wife.” (You know, because women are nothing but property to white Christian fascists.) He said she looks like a “feminazi on steroids.” He just kept performatively talking about how physically repulsive the woman was. “Ugh!” he said.

Yep, the crooked face and mangled forehead of Charlie Kirk said those things about another human’s appearance.

He continued:

KIRK: Weak men are necessary for the totalitarian takeover of America. […] Nobody who has gotten strong in the gym believes in the lies of liberalism. When you take hours a week in the gym, all of the sudden a government getting in your ear to say to get something for nothing falls — it is incongruent with your practices. When you’re in the gym you don’t believe the lies that people are just helpless victims of circumstance.

Y’all have to watch and see how mad he was saying this stuff. He was furious, his voice rising as he explained that people who are physically fit are happier and healthier, and the Left DOESN’T WANT YOU TO BE THAT WAY!

And we are just over here uncontrollably laughing at the idea that nobody at the gym is a liberal.

Funny story: When we first saw this article yesterday, we were still sweating because we had just come back from the gym, where we, a liberal gay homosexual, meet with our personal trainer for hours per week, on top of many more hours of strength training, cardio, yoga and more. Uh oh, Charlie! Are we at a risk of going brain-stupid and becoming admirers of you, Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump?

Bless his heart.

Where does this sniveling weenus think Instagram gays get their perfect bodies? And Instagram straights? The people who keep gyms open 24/7 in big cities? Does he think they’re secret Trump voters?

And it’s so funny because we know guys like Kirk go to the gym and lift and stuff. Maybe even a couple of the 4-foot-11 Daily Wire host dudes. A few of these guys are cut! (Definitely not all of them.) But their self-worth is so tied up in these masturbatory fantasies about how this somehow adds to their godly virtue, and also that they have been chosen to use their strong conservative man bodies this way to own the libs.

Whereas normal people are out there getting strong and healthy and looking great for … normal reasons.

As we said, if you took away these freaks’ masculine insecurities, you’d have nothing left.

We’ve Reached The ‘Fox News Accuses White House Of Flying Pedophile Flag’ Phase Of Trump News Cycle

Yesterday, Fox News sent a tweet that, even by its vile, low-class standards, was a real doozy:

The tweet and the headline blasted: “White House flew controversial new transgender flag that promotes grooming and pedophilia, critics say.” That “critics say” was doing a lot of hard work, considering how the only “critics” saying that are America’s unhinged anti-LGBTQ+ Nazis. We also love how they stuffed that “critics say” down at the end, so most people would simply see them accusing the White House of promoting grooming and pedophilia. Hitler’s ad guys would be impressed.

The tweet has been deleted, of course, and the headline has been changed. Now it says, “White House flew controversial new transgender flag that troubles some critics in the gay community,” which is still incredibly misleading. First of all it’s not a “transgender flag.” Basic fact-checking continues not to be a trend running rampant in Fox News HQ, obviously.

Also, the “critics in the gay community” it references are the deranged Gays Against Groomers freakshows, which is not a real gay group, but rather a QAnon-promoting far-right MAGA trash group created to make it look like there are even people in the LGBTQ+ community who are joining the American Nazi crusade against trans people and so-called “groomers.” It’s similar to when right-wingers trot out their Black friends who conveniently also excuse white supremacy. It’s one of the oldest right-wing tricks in the book.

“The flag represents to us an ideology, a political statement of indoctrinating kids and trans kids and pushing kids to sterilize and mutilate themselves,” Jaimee Michell, the lesbian founder of Gays Against Groomers, told Fox News Digital.

So that there is some fascist garbage wrapped up in a pack of easily disproven lies.

The article says “some [are] even saying that in their opinion, it appears to reference a cult of pedophilia.” It calls the flag a “mysterious and divisive new symbol of pride.” (It’s called the Progress Pride flag and it was created in 2018. Not that “new.”)

The article says, “Some critics charge that the new design actually glorifies pedophilia at a time when children are being sexualized in public schools and elsewhere against the wishes of their parents.” Of course it’s a Christian fascist propaganda lie that “children are being sexualized in public schools … against the wishes of their parents.” What they’re really saying is that kids are finding out that LGBTQ+ people exist at school and that if they are LGBTQ+ themselves, it’s OK. This interferes with the hate indoctrination and grooming fundamentalist Christian parents are doing at home.

Obviously this is all part of the coordinated right-wing attack on Pride celebrations at the White House.

Is The Pride Flag Dividing The US Or Are Conservatives Just Awful, Hateful Human Beings?

It was quickly pointed out that this very same flag, which Fox News claimed promoted pedophilia and grooming, critics say, is featured in Fox News’s 2022 corporate responsibility report, linked in the tweet below:

But that’s the Fox News they try to keep under wraps from their viewers, who are mostly clueless that Fox is a real company in a real city, which brags about its inclusivity efforts and environmental initiatives and even stands with Ukraine.

Cynical bastards.

The White House is pissed, quite rightly. First of all, this comes just after Fox News referred to President Joe Biden as a “wannabe dictator” who had his “political rival arrested” in a chyron, something Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded to yesterday. (Oh boy, Fox News did not seem to like that!) White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates has taken the lead on this one, going off on Fox for the flag story yesterday in response to the original deleted tweet.

Text:

.@FoxNews is characteristically lying through their teeth. Please see Dominion Voting Systems v. Fox News Network. Fox never even communicated the malicious and discredited foundation of this article to the White House. Then they lie about whether we responded at all.

Now the headline is changed, but it’s all still garbage, and people are paying attention. And the White House is still pissed. Bates this morning:

Text:

Will @FoxNews retract their dishonest story, or will they release a statement condemning themselves for using the same flag last year? @CNN: “Fox Corporation’s own logo had been wrapped in the very same pride flag last year.”

Fox News has been gay- and trans-bashing this administration like a closet case scared somebody will find out its secret from the get-go, especially with its bizarro-world attacks on Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. They also have a weird kink for taking random stories about the Biden administration and digging for any weird anti-LGBTQ+ angle they can push to their bigoted viewers and readers.

New HIV council members? Did you know some of them worked for Planned Parenthood and other WOKE places? (Should they be hiring from far-right Christian supremacist hate groups instead?)

Biden helping homeless people? Did you know they were doing TRANSGENDER THINGS TO THEM?

You get the idea.

But this is really vile and disgusting and feels like a new low. Literally accusing the Biden administration of promoting pedophilia and “grooming,” and inciting anti-LGBTQ+ hatred in the process.

Tucker Carlson may be fired, but he casts a shadow.

Fox News Had A ‘Great Replacement’ White Supremacy Contest And Laura Ingraham Won!

We are not saying that all the hosts at Fox News had a meeting where they got real excited that somebody might finally notice THEM doing the Great Replacement theory — you know, the white supremacist conspiracy theory that inspires all those mass shooters! — now that Tucker Carlson, king of spreading the Great Replacement theory, is gone.

We are fully willing to accept the notion that many of the people who work at Fox News are fucking white nationalist scumbags, and enjoy spreading the white supremacist Great Replacement theory for their own reasons. And maybe, just maybe, they’ve been doing it this whole time but we just couldn’t hear them, because Tucker is just a total fucking scene-hogging diva with his racism.

In the past few days, at least three on-air Fox News hosts have done it. It could be more, but Media Matters watches Fox News all day, and these are the ones they highlighted. It’s related to the Biden administration finally ending Donald Trump/Stephen Miller’s racist Title 42immigration policy, wherein the Trump administration used coronavirus as an excuse to to pretty much immediately kick out anybody coming to the border to ask for asylum. (It was pretty much the only time they were VRY SRS about COVID being a real threat.)

SEAN! (AND VICTOR!)

There was Sean Hannity’s show on Tuesday night, with his weird racist guest Victor Davis Hanson, who said many goofy-ass racist argle-bargles about the Biden administration bringing in SEVEN MILLION ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. They were doing this to “flood the zone,” said Hanson, because “they don’t have confidence in their agenda.” Therefore they have to bring in this “new constituency” (A GREAT REPLACEMENT) to vote for them, because they are just so dang unpopular with the rest of the US Americans.

Here’s the video and the full quote:

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: You can see that in Joe Biden’s approval ratings, so they feel that they can have a new constituency and turn states like California and Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, maybe Texas, one day, and Arizona blue from red, and they can get a constituency that needs a larger government, then that’s in their favor, and the only thing they’re worried about right now is the public relations and the optics because they feel it’s so egregious that they have no public support and it’s going to alienate them. That’s all they’re worried about. But, privately, they think, “Wow, we pulled it off. We got 7 million people here illegally before they knew what was going on.” That’s all they care about.

This led Hannity to ask some real strange questions about whether Joe Biden is planning to sell US citizenship to the migrants. Victor Davis Hanson was just like nah, they are just so embarrassed about how unpopular they are, but they are secretly excited because they just succeeded in greatly replacing everybody.

Quick, how many times have Republicans won the popular vote in fucking anything in the last 40 years? But sure, whitey. Keep up your bitchin’. You’re definitely winning new voters for your racist side.

JESSE!

Jesse Watters shot his wad with it on Wednesday.

JUDGE BOXWINE: Tomorrow, when 42 is lifted, I mean, how much worse can it get — 5 million in a year, in two years? I’m sorry.

JESSE WATTERS: Yeah, and then imagine a generation from now. That’s what they want to do here. They want to make Texas a Democrat state. And you’ll never see another Republican in the White House after that.

So dang subtle.

They’re lifting Trump’s white supremacist immigration policy as part of their plan to make Texas a “Democrat state.” (Texas is probably already a “Democrat state” if you take away the racist voter suppression policies of Greg Abbott et al.)

Then Jesse whined out a story about how he was stuck behind a bus of “illegal immigrant families” for 20 minutes on his way to work that day. He asked Greg Abbott to please start sending immigrants to “Chicago or Philly, somewhere I don’t live.” He had to “get out of my Town Car and confront the bus driver.” “You can’t have this in Midtown Manhattan. We’re full.”

You know how Jesse Watters speaks for the average voter in Midtown Manhattan.

LAURA!

And then last night there was Laura Ingraham. Her shit was long and drawn-out and convoluted, but it was greatly replace-y!

Importantly, she said you are GONNA DIE because of all the immigration. Or at least her viewers will. “Untold numbers.” You betcha.

Just gonna give you the whole quote, because holy shit, this is so deranged:

LAURA INGRAHAM: Now, understand this, and understand it well. The scenes you’re watching tonight are not happening because of Biden administration incompetence. They’re happening because this is exactly what the Democrats want.

Now, let me explain this. Liberals and business elites have been working toward this for decades, and now they’re celebrating what is ultimately — if they really get their way — the destruction of America’s middle class. Sounds inflammatory, hyperbolic? Stay with me.

We’re trying.

INGRAHAM: Now, why do they want to destroy the middle class? Well, the far Left hates all those traditions that the middle class clings to, especially the flag-waving, guns, religion — you get the score.

When she says “middle class” she means only white Christian conservative Republicans.

INGRAHAM: And big business, they dislike the middle class because it’s an obstacle to keeping wages as low as possible. Remember, under Trump, the middle class was better off. Their median income was rising and we had minimal inflation. But a limitless supply of low-wage workers, that’s what makes business happiest and keeps America’s middle class the poorest.

Hooray, populism. This is 100 percent Tucker territory. Sadly, there are progressives in America who think you can separate the white supremacist fascism from the populist rhetoric, as if it’s not the precise trick of white supremacist fascists to lean into populism. That’s why there were articles after Tucker’s firing like “No, You Absolutely Do Not Have To Hand It To Tucker Carlson.” Anyway, remember all those window signs from all the mom and pop restaurants about BOO EVERYONE IS LAZY NOBODY WILL WORK FOR US, because the Boomers are all retiring and immigration’s been artificially low, but all those mad restaurant owners are probably “BIG BUSINESS” to the woman on Fox. Also, the BIG BUSINESS that is “hiring nurses to come help your mom.” There are not enough nurses either, it is a total thing! BIG BUSINESS!

INGRAHAM: The open borders radicals think every migrant sleeping on the ground tonight waiting for processing is a future Democrat voter. That’s how they see them. The wealthy donors see the migrants as a much-needed cheap labor. Now, it’s as simple as that.

White supremacist Great Replacement conspiracy theory + fake populism = still just white supremacist Great Replacement conspiracy theory.

INGRAHAM: If those two groups didn’t want this to happen, Biden wouldn’t have done it. Because of what they’ve done, an untold number of Americans will not just lose jobs, but lose their lives.

THEIR LIVES.

INGRAHAM: For these globalists, though, it’s all collateral damage. They don’t care as long as they get to hold onto power and get rich.

(((Globalists.))) We know they mean when they say (((globalists))) are trying to (((hold onto power))) and (((get rich))).

It shows up in the mass shooter manifestos too.

Anyway, damn! We think Laura Ingraham won this white supremacy contest. And with Jesse Watters in the running and everything!

We don’t know how Fox News rewards its employees for these things.

Maybe Laura Ingraham will get to keep the official jar of Tucker’s old farts in her office for a whole week or something.

Why Tucker Carlson Was The Tom Buchanan Of Fox News

A stunned nation learned last week that Tucker Carlson, who made racist comments publicly, also made racist comments privately. It’s hard to believe that Carlson’s blatant racism shocked the conscience of Fox News executives, but if we take these known liars at their word, they must’ve assumed Carlson was a punch-clock villain and didn’t believe most of what he said on-air.

If so, they weren’t alone. Even his fiercest detractors insisted he was just play-acting the bigot, appealing to the simple rubes who watched his show every night. After all, Carlson comes from a wealthy family and is well-educated. That must make him different somehow from the robed Klan member. (In reality, KKK leaders have included college professors and doctors.)

Elitist liberals have been guilty of promoting a similar narrative about Kayleigh McEnany. She’s openly racist but we’re constantly reminded that she’s a Harvard Law graduate so obviously can’t really believe what she’s saying.

Tucker Carlson has long reminded me of Tom Buchanan from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. Carlson lacks Buchanan’s commanding physical stature that narrator Nick Carraway describes in almost erotic detail, but he’s just as much a priggish, entitled bully. It’s not long after readers have met Buchanan that he goes off on a racist rant.

If We Found Out For First Time That Tucker Was White Supremacist, We’d Freak Out Just Like Fox Did

Judge, Fox Lawyers Agree: No ‘Reasonable Person’ Would Believe Tucker Carlson

youtu.be

From The Great Gatsby:

“Civilization’s going to pieces,” broke out Tom violently. “I’ve gotten to be a terrible pessimist about things. Have you read The Rise of the Coloured Empires by this man Goddard?”

“Why, no,” I answered, rather surprised by his tone.

“Well, it’s a fine book, and everybody ought to read it. The idea is if we don’t look out the white race will be—will be utterly submerged. It’s all scientific stuff; it’s been proved.”

“Tom’s getting very profound,” said Daisy, with an expression of unthoughtful sadness. “He reads deep books with long words in them. What was that word we—”

“Well, these books are all scientific,” insisted Tom, glancing at her impatiently. “This fellow has worked out the whole thing. It’s up to us, who are the dominant race, to watch out or these other races will have control of things.”

“We’ve got to beat them down,” whispered Daisy, winking ferociously toward the fervent sun.

“You ought to live in California—” began Miss Baker, but Tom interrupted her by shifting heavily in his chair.

“This idea is that we’re Nordics. I am, and you are, and you are, and—” After an infinitesimal hesitation he included Daisy with a slight nod, and she winked at me again. “—And we’ve produced all the things that go to make civilization—oh, science and art, and all that. Do you see?”

There was something pathetic in his concentration, as if his complacency, more acute than of old, was not enough to him any more.

This scene is shockingly prescient. The Rise of the Coloured Empires is a riff on Lothrop Stoddard’s The Rising Tide of Color: The Threat Against White World-Supremacy (1920). The Harvard-educated Stoddard warned that accelerating population growth among people of color and industrialization in China and Japan were existential threats to white supremacy. He advocated restricting non-white immigration to white-majority nations, and like Carlson, he seemed obsessed with the imagined “uncleanness’ of brown immigrants. (In an earlier draft, Buchanan mentions how “one Jew” is fine. He just doesn’t appreciate when their numbers increase. Casual anti-semitism persisted at “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” with Carlson’s clear approval.)

The passage is also commonly misinterpreted. Fitzgerald is hardly making a “woke” stand against white supremacy. Yes, Buchanan is a racist asshole, but Nick doesn’t necessary think he’s boorish solely because he’s racist. Nick himself makes casually racist remarks, most notably when he see a limousine “driven by a white chauffeur, in which sat three modish negroes, two bucks and a girl. I laughed aloud as the yolks of their eyeballs rolled toward us in haughty rivalry.” (The 2013 Baz Luhrmann fever dream version whitewashes Nick’s bigoted sentiments.)

www.youtube.com

Nick thinks Buchanan is a paranoid idiot, latching onto racist conspiracies because he’s bored. Buchanan might as well have interrupted dinner to discuss alien abductions. Nick can’t imagine a nightmarish future where the “colored races” are running the show. When confronted with an upset in the racial hierarchy, he literally laughs out loud. How many of today’s Never Trumpers had similar reactions to Carlson’s show?

White liberals and moderates often dismiss Carlson’s own racist rants as simple fear mongering, intended solely to goose up ratings. The Great Replacement Theory is silly, even though Carlson and others are correct that a diverse electorate is more politically progressive than a predominately white one. If the racial demographics of the 2008 and 2012 electorates were the same as in 1980 and 1984, John McCain and Mitt Romney would’ve won in landslides. The day before the January 6 insurrection, Democrats gained control of the Senate with Georgia runoff victories where the Republican incumbent candidates lost while carrying more than 70 percent of the white vote. This is the future Tom Buchanan predicted and feared.

Here’s a telling passage from the climactic scene at the Plaza Hotel, when Buchanan unloads on the social upstart Gatsby.

“Wait a minute,” snapped Tom, “I want to ask Mr. Gatsby one more question.”

“Go on,” Gatsby said politely.

“What kind of a row are you trying to cause in my house anyhow?”

They were out in the open at last and Gatsby was content.

“He isn’t causing a row,” Daisy looked desperately from one to the other. “You’re causing a row. Please have a little self-control.”

“Self-control!” repeated Tom incredulously. “I suppose the latest thing is to sit back and let Mr. Nobody from Nowhere make love to your wife. Well, if that’s the idea you can count me out… Nowadays people begin by sneering at family life and family institutions, and next they’ll throw everything overboard and have intermarriage between black and white.”

Flushed with his impassioned gibberish, he saw himself standing alone on the last barrier of civilization.

“We’re all white here,” murmured Jordan.

Jordan Baker’s quip is one of my favorite lines, even if obviously racist, because it reveals so much about her character. She feels invulnerable in her status and privilege, while Buchanan feels the proverbial “colored” wolf at the door. Nick dismisses Buchanan’s remarks as “impassioned gibberish,” but not because he is racially tolerant. He just thinks Buchanan is absurd.

Conservative Never Trumper Tom Nichols at The Atlantic has described the MAGA movement as comprising “bored middle-class narcissists who yearn for some sort of dramatic crusade to give meaning to their empty lives.” Nick similarly condemns the “careless” Tom, Daisy, and Jordan (though they are several tax brackets removed from comfortably middle-class). Nichols also distinguishes between MAGA voters and the Republican “elites” who can’t stand them. However, it’s the Never Trumpers who are probably more like Nick Carraway, who was chummy with Tom Buchanan until the final chapter. Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump are very much Tom Buchanan’s spiritual descendants. Their racism is no pose to win over the white working class. It’s who they are and always have been.

The Flat Circle Of Republican Stupidity

Republicans long for a past that never was, and this inevitably leads them to sound like idiots as they twist themselves into pretzels trying to rationalize their calls for societal regression. Need examples? Let’s look at some in the Sunday shows!

We’re Not Book Burning, You’re the Book Burning!

Republican National Committee Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel was on “Fox News Sunday,” and while discussing the party’s post 2022 debrief report, she said a few things that were surprisingly truthful.

MCDANIEL: […] biggest takeaway we are taking is independents did not break our way, which has to happen if we’re going to win in 2024, which usually that’s what causes that red wave. And abortion was a big issue in key states like Michigan and Pennsylvanian. […] Republicans are migrating. They are migrating to red states. […] But it means the White House electorally isn’t available to us unless we go through a purple or blue state. And those states are getting bluer, because red voters are moving to the red states. […] the path to the White House runs not just through independents, but every single Republican getting on board.

It’s pretty shocking to hear anyone in the RNC, much less its chairperson, point out an objective reality. So what different actions or rhetoric do they plan to use to better their chances in 2024? Like, for example, abortion:

MCDANIEL: […] What abortion is a bad idea to Democrats? Ninth month, eighth month, seventh month? They can’t even articulate an abortion that’s a bad idea. Gender selection, if it’s a girl, you get to abort it. Tax-funded abortions for people where it’s against their religious conscience. […]

Nothing, then. They plan on changing nothing and expecting different results. If only there was a phrase for that.

Actually, correction, they do have another political strategy: The ole’ “we’re rubber, you’re glue”!

When asked about Republican attacks on trans people, which are politically unpopular, McDaniel attempted some very strained whataboutism.

MCDANIEL: […] the Democrats are using this word book banning. […] That’s a lie. There isn’t book banning. What Republicans are doing are protecting our children and parental rights […] But it’s good to know the Democrats playbook and we’re going to push on that, especially coming from the Democrat party that is banning freedom of speech, that is canceling people, that is destroying your life if you don’t think with their orthodoxy. This is the Democrat Party who is saying if you think outside of the box and everything, we are dictating to you, you will make you lose your job, we will destroy you.

Republicans have literally been fighting Disney because it dared exercised free speech, made book banning much easier, extended Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bigotry, and threatened to separate children from parents who are not bigoted toward their trans kids. But, sure, it’s the Democrats who are “destroying anyone who doesn’t conform to orthodoxy and taking their jobs while threatening to destroy them.”

Speaking of, how’s that dirt file on fired Fox News host Tucker Carlson?

Let’s Default Our National Debt!

House Republican Whip Tom Emmer appeared on CNN’s “State of The Union” and wouldn’t directly state that his party won’t force a default on the nation’s debt.

Host Dana Bash tried pointing out specifically how the cuts they want would hurt his constituents, but Emmer made it clear he will ignore them or just blame Nancy Pelosi when the reality doesn’t match his delusions.

GOP’s Vanity Tech Douche Candidate Returns

NBC’s “Meet The Press” had on Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Although considering his polling, calling him a candidate is a bit too generous, but nonetheless, we are all subjected to his stupidity on TV and expected to take him seriously. So fresh from giving Don Lemon his last good journalistic moment on CNN, Ramaswamy made Chuck Todd look like Walter Cronkite.

When Ramaswamy brings up an example of a person who says their gender doesn’t align with their biological sex, he seems to know the difference between sex and gender. But when Todd questions his stance on gender being binary, Ramaswamy then perhaps deliberately conflates biological sex with gender.

RAMASWAMY: Well, there’s, there’s two X chromosomes if you’re a woman. An X and a Y, that means you’re a man.

TODD: There’s a lot of scientific research out there –

RAMASWAMY: There’s a biological basis for this —

TODD: There’s a lot of scientific research out there that says gender is a spectrum.

RAMASWAMY: Chuck, I respectfully disagree.

Funny how these transphobic clowns want to bring biology into this UNTIL scientific research disputes their transphobia and then they fall back on what they “feel” or disagree just because.

Ramaswamy also equates abortion with murder but says it’s a “states’ right issue.” That’s not how “states’ rights” work, even if a Republican nominee barely polling above skim milk says so.

Asa Hutchinson’s Decimal Points

Speaking of polling, Asa Hutchinson announced he was running for president almost exactly a month ago. He appeared on CNN’s “State Of the Union” this week to call for going back to a Republican Party that died long before Trump came down an escalator in 2015. So how are Republican voters embracing this? We’ll let this picture summarize it.

Can this change for Hutchinson? Likely not when he is polling lower than the fictional Conor Roy in “Succession,” who we actually compared to Hutchinson too optimistically.

Phrasing, Steve Scalise!

When asked about any possible tension between himself and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on ABC’s “This Week,” Steve Scalise chose an odd way to describe their closeness yet trust.

Could be worse: Scalise could have kept misunderstanding what “raw dog” is.

Tucker Carlson | ‘Controversial’ prime-time anchor

Popular U.S. news anchor Tucker Carlson, 53, was fired this week by Fox News, the channel under whose aegis he became the champion of the new conservative movement led by former President Donald Trump. His ouster from the Rupert Murdoch-owned media house came on the heels of a damaging lawsuit brought against Fox by election technologies company Dominion Voting Systems, which alleged that the news outlet had maligned their reputation and harassed their staff by dragging them into the unfounded right-wing conspiracy that the 2020 U.S. presidential election was “stolen” from Mr. Trump and handed to his Democratic rival and current President, Joe Biden. To avoid going to trial and facing potentially embarrassing revelations in court about anchors who deliberately propagated hateful misinformation on the election, some of it perhaps linked to the subsequent January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, Fox News agreed to settle the Dominion case for a whopping $787.5 million. In the likely internal shake-up and shareholder anger that is said to have followed, reports suggest, Mr. Carlson may have been shown the door as a high-profile, prime-time Fox anchor whose career was dogged by too many controversies for the network to tolerate.

Also read: Explained | Why did Fox News opt to settle with election technology firm Dominion Voting Systems?

A privileged start

So, who is Mr. Carlson and how did he rise to such meteoric heights despite his blunt, unapologetic style, to the point where he ran roughshod over his colleagues at Fox? He Mr. Carlson was born in 1969 in San Francisco, California, in an upper middleclass family, to Richard Carlson, a media executive with the Voice of America and former CEO of The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and Lisa McNear, an artist, who left the family when Mr. Carlson was six years old.

When he was 10, Mr. Carlson’s father remarried into a wealthy business family and both Mr. Carlson and his brother, Buckley, went to St. George’s, a Rhode Island private school. Following that, Mr. Carlson attended Trinity College, where, as he said in an interview, “He spent his days mostly drunk.” Mr. Carlson graduated in 1992 and married Susan Anderson, whom he knew from high school. Reports say that after college Mr. Carlson applied to the CIA, but his application was denied.

At that point his father is said to have advised him to consider journalism as “They’ll take anybody”, and thus Mr. Carlson began working for the now defunct Policy Review quarterly of the conservative Heritage Foundation, as — and the irony of this job would only be apparent later — a fact-checker. He continued to write for several major publications during the 1990s and landed a job as a CNN commentator in the early 2000s prior to signing up with MSNBC to host a nightly programme.

Big break with Fox

While he moved to Fox News in 2009 to work as a political analyst, his big moment in the spotlight finally came in 2016 after two seismic developments in the conservative media and political landscape. First, Mr. Carlson was given the just-vacated prime-time slot of 8 p.m. that was earlier held by disgraced star Bill O’Reilly — an anchor who left Fox News after reports emerged that millions of dollars had been paid out to women who had accused him of sexual misconduct. Second, and arguably more importantly, Mr. Trump came to power, giving Mr. Carlson the perfect opportunity to use his new prime-time slot to defend the embattled new President, with the specific aim of pandering to the Trump campaign’s core value of populist outrage fuelling divisive politics.

However, Mr. Carlson was not just another Trump acolyte. On the one hand, he reportedly said to friends and co-workers that he “needed to find a way to reach the Trump faithful, but without imitating [another high-profile Fox anchor Sean] Hannity” — whom he felt was trapped in apologising for Mr. Trump’s everyday gaffes and missteps, given how frequently such incidents were occurring at the time. On the other, it was revealed during the Dominion lawsuit that Mr. Carlson privately repudiated Mr. Trump’s 2020 election fraud claims — even texting once to say that he hated the 45th President “passionately” — even though he publicly backed the conspiracy theories on air.

With this carefully curated political posture, soon the power of his show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, was evident — it kicked off featuring a debut episode that attracted an audience of nearly 3.7 million people. With such soaring numbers, Mr. Carlson became a critical force shaping the very contours of American conservative philosophy, all the while flogging, according to the New York Times, “the emotional core of Mr. Trump’s allure — white panic over the country’s changing ethnic composition…” By late 2018, the Tucker Carlson Tonight show had become the second highest-rated cable news programme in prime-time U.S. television, even though it had been boycotted by 20 advertisers after Mr. Carlson said that “unregulated” immigration made the U.S. “poorer and dirtier and more divided”.

Slippery slope

As successful as his show was, it equally became a pressure point for Mr. Carlson and Fox News to keep supplying supportive narratives, even when in reality there were none. Thus began the slippery slope that ultimately led to Mr. Carlson’s ouster following the Dominion case — even though that lawsuit was only the final nail in his professional coffin at the network.

Equally damning was the legal case brought by Abby Grossberg, a former Fox producer who served as Mr. Carlson’s head of booking and was fired by the network corporation after complaining of aggressive coaching and intimidation by Fox lawyers before she deposed in the Dominion lawsuit in September 2022, saying it left her “feeling pressured not to name names or to implicate others, in particular prominent male on-air personalities and Fox News executives”.

The Grossberg lawsuit also alleges that Fox News and Mr. Carlson specifically let the Tonight show become “a work environment that subjugates women based on vile sexist stereotypes, typecasts religious minorities and belittles their traditions, and demonstrates little to no regard for those suffering from mental illness”.

A second, potentially even more damaging development relating to the 2020 presidential election is a case brought by Smartmatic, another election technology company, which has filed a $2.7-billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News — likely to have made it impossible to retain an anchor such as Mr. Carlson after evidence based on internal Fox documents surfaced proving “actual malice” on the part of senior network executives.

Speaking for the movement

While speculation is rife as to what Mr. Carlson will do next — especially in the light of a rambling video attacking mainstream media that he released online in recent days after his firing — there is little doubt that he will continue to speak for Trumpism, even if Mr. Trump is no longer at the helm of political affairs. Immigration controversies, racial hatred, and classical conservative anxiety about minorities of all hues will apparently serve readily as fodder for the likes of Mr. Carlson. Yet his success might well spell continuing pain for those who seek to realise the pluralist dream of the U.S. as “the land of the free and the home of the brave”.

Lordy, Abby Grossberg Has Tapes!

The other evening, former Fox News producer Abby Grossberg, whose lawsuit may be a contributing factor for why Tucker Carlson was so unceremoniously fired Monday morning, started making the media rounds with her lawyer. (She thinks her lawsuit is probably a factor.) She appeared on MSNBC with Nicolle Wallace, and her lawyer showed up afterward on the same network’s Ari Melber show.

News, as they say, was made.

She talked about about how Tucker had made her life a “living hell,” and what a disgusting and misogynist place Tucker’s show was to work. (That’s all in her lawsuit.) She talked about how much Tucker liked to say the C-word, about women in general who made him mad, and especially about Sidney Powell, and how Fox News’s lawyers coached her to tell common lies about whether that bothered her. Indeed, she told Wallace that after she gave her original deposition in the Dominion lawsuit, the show threw a special lunch called “Abby Day” because they were so proud of her answers.

And she talked about how bizarrely and preternaturally obsessed Tucker was with making up and spreading conspiracy theories that the terrorist attack of January 6 was some kind of false flag perpetuated by the FBI. Even though lawyers for people on trial for invading the Capitol that day were begging him to stop.

That’s all at the end of this clip, which is quite a highlight reel of the full interview:

According to Grossberg, the now-former Fox News star was “very set on finding an FBI person who was implanted in the crowd” so he could prove the insurrection was a false flag by the government.

“[He was] spinning this conspiracy that they were ultimately the ones responsible for the Capitol attack, not Fox News as they’re about to go into the Dominion trial,” she said. “It was really the FBI that set up this thing, not Fox telling the American people that the election was rigged and the voting machines did it.” Grossberg claimed that even an attorney representing some of the Capitol rioters implored her to push Carlson away from the unhinged theory, but it was to no avail because “everyone was a believer” on the show.

“I went back to them and said, look, there’s no conspiracy theory here. I called the attorney who is representing one of the Proud Boys. He told me on two occasions, ‘There’s no conspiracy, get away from this stuff, this is dangerous. Tell Tucker to stop. I will come on your show, but I’ll absolutely walk off if he asks me this.’ And the result was, find somebody else, Tucker is really intent on this.”

It was bizarre how Tucker latched so quickly on to the idea that the January 6 terrorists were all innocents, and that an attack on them was an attack on all his viewers. And he knew exactly what the assignment was when Kevin McCarthy gave him all those tapes.

Oh well, thank goodness he can’t spew that nonsense to such a big audience night after night anymore.

Maybe he can get some cats and tell January 6 Was A Planned Demolition conspiracy theories to them in his Maine “Hee Haw” studio.

And Lordy, Her Tapes!

Grossberg really did record a lot.

She says she’s got 90 tapes, that she knows of, so far, so it’s definitely not just that Rudy Giuliani tape that came out just before the Dominion trial, where he admitted out loud to Maria Bartiromo that he didn’t have shit evidence for all his voter fraud lies.

In the clip below she explains that Fox News failed to turn over a whole lot of things she provided to them during discovery for the Dominion case, and doesn’t know whether it was intentional or reckless that they failed to turn them over to Dominion. Oh well, she found ’em now! She says she’s also gotten a subpoena in the Smartmatic case.

The next hour on Ari Melber’s show, where Grossberg’s lawyer was a guest, he played a big important tape of Ted Cruz on the phone with Maria Bartiromo on January 2, talking about denying certification of the election on January 6, then standing up a fake commission afterward to investigate all the fake frauds, then use that to overturn the result:

www.youtube.com

From the Washington Post:

If the commission found “credible evidence of fraud that undermines confidence in the electoral results in any given state,” then the state would then call a special session and recertify results, according to Cruz.

“Is there any chance you can overturn this?” Bartiromo asked Cruz.

“I hope so,” he responded.

“Who gets inaugurated?” asked Bartiromo. Ted Cruz said hopefully the commission could figure all that out.

Watch that whole Melber report above to see how much Cruz was plotting. He was working hard to overthrow the government y’all!

Cruz is angrily sending out missives acting like this is all some “gotcha!” by MSNBC and insisting these were things he was saying in public at the time too. And yes, it is true that those plotting the coup were largely doing it in all our faces, because that’s what kind of craven, unpatriotic shitheels they are.

But it’s just another piece of the puzzle, and Abby Grossberg’s lawyer Gerry Flippatos has told Melber and other news media that he’s been in touch with Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is investigating the many-pronged plan to overthrow the government and steal the presidency from its rightful winner Joe Biden.

Have they given Smith all of Grossberg’s Lordy She Has Tapes, which include the ones we’ve mentioned, plus conversations between Maria Bartiromo and Sidney Powell and other Trump campaign people? Flippatos says they’ve talked to “numerous law enforcement agencies” about the tapes, and provided info about how they’ll deliver them:

“We have voluntarily surrendered to the relevant law enforcement agencies details regarding the approximately 90 Otter tapes in Miss Grossberg’s possession and have engaged in discussions with these law enforcement agencies to receive targeted subpoenas regarding any such tapes that may be of interest to them,” he said. Otter is an app that transcribes audio recordings and is popular with reporters and producers.

In summary and in conclusion, she recorded everything and they are ready and willing to help.

Have fun with your upcoming life adventures, everyone on Abby Grossberg’s recordings!

Tucker Spreading Fake Doctored Russian Propaganda About Ukraine Losing? Would Fox News Even ALLOW That?

Yes, we know, Tucker Carlson has been playing his interview with Elon Musk the past two nights, and it has been overstuffed with loser divorced dad incel moments to make fun of, like when Elon got that look on his face that says “Is my hand in my pants right now?” while he talked about how abortion and birth control interfere with his weird breeding desires. Or when Elon said, “I’m very familiar with space and stuff.” We will make fun of those things very soon.

First we want to talk about another story related to Tucker and the Discord leaker and Russia’s war in Ukraine, where Tucker openly takes the side of the vile, genocidal, amoral aggressors. (Russia.)

Tucker has been lying and misleading his viewers about the latest accused leaker of classified information pretty much since the get-go, trying to turn the loser into some hero for the (Russian) cause of revealing the TRUTH about what’s going on in in Ukraine. (Not the truth.) He’s also been using facts and figures from the documents to convince his very idiot viewers that the presence of 14 US special forces attached to the embassy in Kyiv means Joe Biden has been lying and America is in a HOT WAR with Ukraine.

Tucker So Mad Nobody Talking About How Leaker Exposed Secret HOT WAR Between Russia And 14 US Troops

But, you see, certain things in those documents had themselves been altered while they were making the rounds on the dork nerd Discord/4Chan/Reddit internet. Certain things had been altered in a specifically Russian propaganda direction, to make it look like, for example, seven Ukrainians were dying for every Russian killed.

The Wall Street Journalreported this weekend on an American spreader of Russian propaganda named Sarah Bils, who ran and/or participated in a network of spreaders of Russian propaganda who posed as a Russian blogger named “Donbass Devushka.” (Translation: “Donbas Girl.” You’ll note that “Donbas” is the name of one of the regions in eastern Ukraine the Russians want to claim as their own and where at the beginning of the war they wanted the world to believe the people would greet them with flowers and blowjobs. It’s where Putin declared “independence” for the two republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, so that he might liberate them from their Ukrainian Nazi occupiers. “Donbass” is the Russian spelling.)

Bils is a former NCO from the US Navy, and the WSJ reports she was stationed at Whidbey Island in Washington state up until last year. Meanwhile, she’s doing this pro-Russian shit online. She says 15 people people all over the world control the “Donbass Devushka” account.

Indeed, it sounds like this account’s dissemination of some of the materials allegedly leaked by Jack Teixeira — shit that had been on the nerd internet for a while and hardly noticed — was what got the attention of Russian social media, which in turn got the attention of the Defense Department. Nobody cared about these documents until April 5, when this network of Russian propagandists that was actively supporting “our men on the front” — Russians — started putting them up on Telegram. Bils says she was not the member who posted this stuff, but rather that she took it down some days later.

But somewhere between Teixeira trying to impress his nerd friends on Discord by posting these documents and these Kremlin mouthpieces posting them on Telegram, some of the information on the documents got tweaked:

Some of the slides reposted on the Telegram account overseen by Ms. Bils had been altered from the otherwise identical photographs allegedly posted by Airman Teixeira on Discord—changed to inflate Ukrainian losses and play down Russian casualties. A subsequent post on the Donbass Devushka Telegram channel, on April 12, denied that the image had been doctored by the administrators.

“We would never edit content for our viewers,” the post said.

Take that as you will.

So that’s where the claim came from that SEVEN UKRAINIANS were dying for every Russian casualty. Have a heart, people! How could you want the Ukrainians to keep fighting if Russia is just massacring them? It’s not a fair fight! We should probably all get behind some kind of “peace plan” for Ukraine that involves giving Vladimir Putin as much of sovereign Ukraine as he wants while we all tongue all over Putin’s taint.

It’s the only humane solution, right?

Tucker Carlson sure thought so, when he started spreading the doctored Russian propaganda on Thursday night. Mediaite summarizes:

Malcontent News first reported on Sunday that Tucker Carlson used the “edited version” of the documents posted by Donbass Devushka’s Telegram channel to “claim Ukraine was suffering a 7-1 troop loss ratio and was ‘losing the war.’”

Indeed, last Thursday in an angry rant in which Carlson accused both President Joe Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin of committing “crimes” related to supporting Ukraine fend off the Russian invasion, Carlson cited that statistic.

“The second thing we learned from these slides is that despite direct U.S. involvement, Ukraine is in fact losing the war. Seven Ukrainians are being killed for every Russian. Ukrainian air defenses have been utterly degraded. Ukraine is losing. The Biden administration is perfectly aware of this,” Carlson declared. Carlson has long claimed Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine is going far better than the media has reported, all while remaining a fierce critic of Ukraine’s leadership.

Here is a tweet from an investigative journo about it:

And here is Rachel Maddow talking about Tucker:

Oh yes, weep for the poor Ukrainians, who are totally losing the war, for whom all hope is lost! Why would you force them to keep fighting like this if seven of them are dying for every Russian? Are you some kind of MONSTER?

Only Tucker Carlson and his ideological pals truly care about the plight of the desperate Ukrainians. And he read some stuff a fake Russian propaganda blogger posted that’s just really concerning him right now.

As far as what’s really going on in Ukraine, Cathy Young writes at The Bulwark that most of the people pushing the narrative that we really should be reeling over the information in these leaks are indeed propagandists for Russia, the Putin apologists who have a fundamental and sick need to believe Ukraine is losing.

But Young says even some more mainstream media is taking the bait, and should cut that shit out. She argues that from the perspectives of the Ukrainians and their supporters, the leaks “[contain] essentially nothing new, at least as far as the war in Ukraine is concerned.” She goes through all the things that are supposed to be sorts of shattering revelations and shows the receipts on how people have been talking about them for months.

And, she notes, the leaks contain a hell of a lot that’s embarrassing for Russia, stuff that’s clearly driving some of their propaganda-spreaders quite batshit. (She’s got the receipts on that too.)

So, you know, chill the fuck out.

Read the whole thing, as they say in internet circles.

And don’t listen to Tucker Carlson.

Y’all hear his employer is paying out $787.5 million to a voting machine company as a penalty for brazenly and knowing lying to its gullible idiot viewers about that company after the 2020 election? And that a lot of those lies came from his show?

And here we all thought they were so credible and above reproach.

Tucker So Mad Nobody Talking About How Leaker Exposed Secret HOT WAR Between Russia And 14 US Troops

Well, that didn’t take long.

Yesterday, a 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guard member named Jack Teixeira was arrested in connection with the Discord leaks. It sounds like this wasn’t some high-tech dude who really covered his tracks, since earlier that day, the Washington Post was reporting on the extensive conversations it had with a teenager in the dude’s Discord group, who among other things showed WaPo a video of the guy shooting guns while yelling racist and antisemitic slurs.

It was then that we personally knew MAGA types were going to get a red hot doggie boner for this guy, whoever he was.

It’s that, but it’s also so much more than that. On top of the red hot doggie boner, they are just lying about what the leaks say, because they know their followers are too stupid and trusting to check things for themselves. Specifically, they are lying and saying the leaked documents show America is in a secret hot war against Russia, and that the Biden administration is lying about it. Ayup.

Obviously Tucker Carlson went hard last night.

Nikki McCann Ramirez reports at Rolling Stone:

“Tonight, the news media are celebrating the capture of the kid who told Americans what’s actually happening in Ukraine,” Carlson told viewers. He continued, “They are treating him like Osama Bin Laden, maybe even worse actually, because, unlike Al Qaeda, apparently, this kid is a racist.” The host was referring to reports that the Discord server in which Teixeira shared the documents contained several racist memes.

Oh no, what is the truth? And how are they treating him worse than Bin Laden? Are they raiding his compound in Pakistan? And how dare they call him a racist just because he’s apparently a racist who shoots guns in the air while yelling racist things? If they start calling people racist just because they’re always saying racist things, then …

Oh no, Tucker, what is ACTUALLY HAPPENING in Ukraine?

As Ramirez explains, the documents say there are 14 US special forces in Ukraine. (Yes, 14.) This means, according to Tucker, that he’s been right all along and this is really America’s war in Ukraine against Russia. Why did we only secretly deploy 14 troops? Probably because the rest of the military is woke and full of Dylan Mulvaney’s Bud Light and there were only 14 among the entire American fighting force who were combat-ready, but we imagine that’s a Tucker monologue for another time.

“The United States is a direct combatant in a war against Russia. As we speak, American soldiers are fighting Russian soldiers,” Carlson claimed, “This is a hot war between the two primary nuclear superpowers on Earth. And yet, this war has never been formally declared. It has not been authorized by Congress. And for that reason, this war is a violation of American law. It is a crime.”

Fourteen US special forces. Against hundreds of thousands of Russians who illegally invaded Ukraine and immediately started executing and raping and torturing kids. You know, just to remind you what the country Tucker does propaganda for has actually been doing there. What atrocities Tucker’s real father Putin is responsible for.

Fourteen US special forces. Sounds like they’re just at the embassy in Kyiv, doing embassy stuff.

But that’s how Tucker is selling his lie that actually this is an illegal American war against his adopted motherland, which he really ought to fuck off to. Even though, as Ramirez notes here, Fox News’s own correspondent Jacqui Heinrich confirmed the reporting that the 14 special forces are just at the embassy doing shit there.

Ramirez also notes that Heinrich is the very reporter Tucker wanted fired after the 2020 election, because she called bullshit on Donald Trump’s Big Lie on TV. Tucker and other Fox News hosts were busy actively and knowingly lying to their viewers about the election at that time. Couldn’t have news reporters reporting the news, it was getting in the way of their lying.

Anyway, back to Teixeira AKA Tucker’s new barely legal boy crush:

“What’s happening to this leaker now is what happens to anyone who contradicts the National Security State and their obedient servants in the media. You go to prison.”

Uh huh, OK, sure, maybe Tucker can bake him some brownies and go visit him at the jail or something.

We don’t know the full story yet on this dumbass Jack Teixeira. We don’t know if he’s just a stupid racist MAGA idiot who thought it was cool to share intelligence he improperly stole with his stupid friends on Discord, or if he had been somehow turned or was being used, wittingly or unwittingly, by our enemies. It definitely sounds like the first part is true. He seems like an absolute loser.

Here’s a really interesting clip of NBC News reporter Ben Collins talking about the chain of custody of the leaked documents, how they started with the little racist gun-humper nerd trying to impress his video game friends on the video game chat:

But anyway, back to Tucker’s show. Oh god, there was so much whining.

Tucker bitched and moaned that the media is hiding the REAL secrets of the leaks, and that the New York Times and Washington Post conspired with the FBI and used “illegal surveillance techniques” to track the dude down. He invited his buddy Glenn Greenwald on so they could bitch and moan together about all the things Glenn and the white supremacist fascists are mad about regarding this. Surprise! Glenn repeated the thing about how these docs reveal that American officials LIED and there are American “boots on the ground” in Ukraine.

(Twenty-eight boots, to be precise. At the embassy in Kyiv. Doin’ embassy stuff.)

Tucker agreed that it is appalling that the media colluded with the Deep State to hide that we are in a “direct hot war” with Russia. Tucker said this is the “most significant fact of our generation.” (Uncle Sam wants YOU! But only 14 of you! The rest you just keep being woke and transgender and reading your gay poems on battleships!)

Here’s video of that, if you have fuckall to do:

It really is amazing how quickly Vladimir Putin’s fluffers in America have decided this loser is the best thing since sliced (white) bread, and how their talking points got coordinated so fast.

Speaking of that, hi there, Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Here’s the full text of that:

Jake Teixeira is white, male, christian, and antiwar. That makes him an enemy to the Biden regime. And he told the truth about troops being on the ground in Ukraine and a lot more. Ask yourself who is the real enemy? A young low level national guardsmen? Or the administration that is waging war in Ukraine, a non-NATO nation, against nuclear Russia without war powers?

Again, SO WEIRD, how quickly their talking points came together. Or as Greg Sargent tweeted, “It’s interesting how direct and open the pro-Putin right is in linking Russia’s fortunes to those of the illiberal authoritarian white Christian secession movement in the United States.”

Except it’s not surprising.

All these people are traitors to America and to the entire free world and everything good that exists in it.

In summary and in conclusion, Tucker was really mad in 2017 when Reality Winner leaked government secrets that exposed Russian crimes against America in the 2016 election. Called her a felon and everything. Just saying.

That’s it, that’s our summary and conclusion.

Wowwww Everyone Saying Wokey McBankFace Gave Black Lives Matter $73M Is A Goddamn Liar

We guess this is their attempt to make the halfwit “woke bank” lie more intellectual racist. Because to appeal to the kinds of people who vote for Republicans and consume rightwing media with the voraciousness of Ron DeSantis fingering a pudding cup, your talking points need to make sense jam at the white supremacist G-spots inside their bottoms.

We first heard it on Tucker on Wednesday night, so there’s a huge shock. In the middle of his fuckbonkers monologue, which was really nothing more than interactive bingo for those aforementioned G-spots, he said that “according to amazing new analysis from the Claremont Institute, Silicon Valley Bank — brace yourself — spent more than $73 million on donations to BLM and related organizations.”

LOL “Claremont Institute.” There’s your first clue this is some absolute full-of-shit nonsense. OK actually the first clue was Tucker’s mouth was moving and he was making those high-pitched yipyap sounds that always come out when he talks.

SEVENTY-THREE MILLION DONATIONS TO BLM! (And related organizations asterisk shhhhhhh.)

Friends, does it make sense that Silicon Valley Bank donated $73 MILLION TO BLACK LIVES MATTER (and related organizations asterisk shhhhh)?

That would be a very big sponsorship, if so!

Anyway, this wasn’t just something that was written on whatever Tucker had stuck up his butt that night. The entire rightwing media has latched on. Donald Trump Jr. pulled the $73 million number out of his pants and played with it on Twitter. On Fox News, Jesse Watters said Tuesday night that Wokey McBankFace gave $74 million to BLM. He’s also said $75 million. (The number is jumping around a bit, which is fine, because it’s all lies.) Ainsley Earhardt repeated it on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday morning. Larry Kudlow pegged it at $75 million. (Guess that was one of the WOKE ROMPINGS he’s been accusing the bank of this week.)

Everybody on Fox News said it.

Look, a video.

www.youtube.com

Friends, would you like to know how much money Wokey McBankFace donated to Black Lives Matter?

Zero dollars. The answer is zero dollars.

Several sites have done extensive debunkings of how Claremont Institute put together its “amazing new analysis” that ended up manufacturing this fake lying amount of donations for lying rightwing fascist pundits to piss into their followers’ receptive gullets. Josh Marshall has a good one at Talking Points Memo. The link we posted above — and will post again right now — from Judd Legum and his pals at Popular Information is extensive and detailed.

The key to the damned fucking lie is that it’s including “pledges to groups that are associated with Black Lives Matter.” Wait, that’s not the key to the lie. Wokey McBankFace gave all those related orgs zero dollars.

The key to the damned fucking lie is that it includes “organizations and initiatives that advance one or more aspects of BLM’s agenda.” And what are some aspects of BLM’s agenda? Well, Claremont says it’s to — hold on to your funny bones for this one — “undermine capitalism, the nation state, and Western civilization.” These people are such fucking shut-in bigots, Jesus Christ.

But that’s not even how Claremont calculates it, as Legum explains. We’re just going to copy/paste you four paragraphs, because it’s not like we did the research:

In 2021, SVB made a pledge to spend $50 million over five years on an internal initiative called Access to Innovation. The program sought to connect women, Black people, and Latinos with startup funding, networking, and leadership development in the venture capitalist ecosystem. Integrating marginalized groups into the venture capitalist community seems like an odd way to “undermine capitalism,” the purpose of BLM, according to the Claremont Institute. And since the program was to last five years, most of the money has probably not been spent. Nevertheless, the $50 million represents more than two-thirds of SVB’s alleged support for BLM.

The other major contribution by SVB that the Claremont Institute says was BLM-related was a $20 million donation “to support additional COVID-19 relief” and establish a “full-ride, needs-based University Scholarship program to students at Arizona State University, Florida A&M University, Tulane University, and Xavier University.” (The $20 million represented the fees SVB collected for processing loans under the Paycheck Protection Program.) It is unclear what COVID-19 relief and college scholarships have to do with BLM.

The Claremont Institute database also says that SVB spent another $1.2 million on the Access to Innovation program and $1.6 million on “causes supporting gender parity in innovation” in 2020. According to the sources cited by the Claremont Institute, these expenditures actually occurred in 2019. They also have no apparent connection to the BLM movement.

Rounding out the Claremont Institute database is a 2020 “2:1 matching campaign for employees who donate their money or time to social justice organizations, which raised nearly $400,000.” The identity of these groups is not disclosed, but the Claremont Institute assumes they must be related to BLM. In addition, the database includes $250,000 of donations from the SVB Foundation in “corporate donations to the NAACP, ACLU, National Urban League and other organizations.” (These donations may overlap with the matching program.) The Claremont Institute considers the NAACP and the ACLU to be “BLM partners.” In reality they are two of the oldest and most respected civil rights and civil liberties organizations in the United States.

And that, friends, is how the rightwing white supremacist sausage party lie is made. If you’d rather read it in more bite-sized form, Legum made a Twitter thread.

Why do they get away with this? Because Claremont and every rightwing piece of shit repeating the lie know with 100 percent confidence that the idiots who get their news from them are too stupid and gullible to check the information for themselves, and too racist to notice the fact that THE LIE DOESN’T EVEN FUCKING MAKE SENSE. These morons have been buying “WOKE BANKS!11111!” this whole week, they’re the stupidest people in the entire world.

Remember how the Dominion texts are showing us how Fox News knowingly and intentionally lies to its viewers for fun and profit?

Yeah.
