Egypt Oil Burn At 4-Year High As LNG Exports Prioritized


Egypt’s gas output has fallen by 700mn cfd since peaking at 7.2bn cfd in September 2022 (MEES, 11 November). But LNG exports have nevertheless risen, with latest figures from data intelligence firm Kpler projecting that a 13-year high 980,000 tons will be shipped this month.

This is thanks in part to rising gas imports from Israel which averaged 610mn cfd for September and 572mn cfd for the first nine months of 2022, up 65% on a year earlier. (CONTINUED – 584 WORDS)
