What Amount of Time Should I Dedicate To Blogging?

How much time you can dedicate to your blog depends on other areas of your business, including the resources you have available to you. If you have writers or content that can be formatted into a blog post, then perhaps you don’t need to allocate as much time to blogging.

But if you don’t have writers or you’re starting fresh, perhaps you should try dedicated quite a chunk of time to blogging in the beginning. Maybe 3-4 hours every week to get 1 or 2 good blogs out. Then you can build your momentum in the future as blogging becomes easier, more like second-nature or you choose to hire writers.

As long as the content you put out into the digital world is either relevant and informative, insightful, unique, or resourceful you’ve got a good shot at publishing some real quality pieces. Blog posts that will gain natural links over time the more they’re viewed, shared, and frequented.
