Do you avoid all work-related social interactions but hope to find ideal jobs for introverts?

If that’s you, then you need to read this post.

Today, I am going to share perfect jobs for introverts who want to work alone and earn money from home.

It’s true; as an introvert you face a lot of situations where you are either not in the right kind of job or struggling to network with colleagues or having trouble landing any job.

These are the common woes of introverts who want to start a career or look for ways to make money.

According to this survey, extroverts tend to earn more money than introverts for obvious reasons. If you have ever worked in an office as an introvert, you will know how easily extroverted employees take the lead and get better pay.

But not all hope is lost for people who want to work alone.

There are many low-stress jobs that can be done flexibly from home and give you a good income. Most importantly, the fact that you’re an introvert will have no effect on your ability to do these jobs.

Who is an introvert?

An introvert, by definition of PsychlogyToday, prefers to spend time with oneself than others. The term introvert is misinterpreted and symbolized with aloneness and shyness. Being an introvert does not mean that you avoid social interactions; it means that rather than being in a crowded social setup, you prefer one-on-one interaction with people.

I am an introvert by nature and prefer working by myself. I can confidently say that I am most productive and perform better when I am alone and have minimal social interactions.

There are many upsides to being an introvert, like self-motivated, highly reflective, great with written communication, organized, work in a disciplined manner, and work independently without any supervision.

What are the good jobs for introverts?

There are many jobs for introverts that let you work alone and pay well. They might not be your “traditional” jobs, but there are many options if you want to work alone, like blogging or freelance writing.

An ideal introvert job has a job description like:

  • Minimal social interaction, like group meetings/collaborations.
  • Gives you the freedom to work on your own.
  • Provides support when needed to grow professionally.
  • No customer facing or leadership roles.

How to search for jobs where you work alone?

Though there are many jobs suitable for introverts, if you are just starting, stay away from customer-facing roles like customer rep or customer champion, etc. You can look for work as a chat agent, where most of the work gets done online. Always read the job description carefully to see if it mentions being on the phone or communicating with clients.

Jobs that let you to work around your schedule with minimal networking can be ideal for you like search engine evaluation.

Passive income jobs for introverts

Rent free space for storage

You can earn passive income by renting your free space with Neighbor. Neighbor is an online marketplace that connects hosts and renters for storage. If you have a garage or a free room in your house, or an empty parking space, you can rent it out for storage.

Wondering how it works? It’s simple. As a host, you sign up and list your space with a good description, photos, and price. Once your space is chosen by a renter, you can discuss the details via the app.

How much you earn depends on the place and the city you live in. You are paid via direct deposit every month.

Rent your car

Being an introvert does not mean you cannot earn money. It can be as simple as renting your car. If you don’t use your car much, you can rent it on websites like Turo and Getaround.

The most significant advantage of this peer-to-peer car renting marketplace is you get $1,000,000 insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance. So no worries about handing over your car to strangers.

You just have to list your car giving all the details including when it’s available for lease. All the handing over will be done through the Turo and Getaround apps, so there is no need for you to communicate with the person. Great passive income gig if you are an introvert!

Use your computer

Here’s another “no work needed” gig if you are on your computer a lot. If you work online and need to do most of your work on your laptop, just use the Nielsen App and earn $50 a year in passive income. This app is backed by the legit Nielsen company that is a leader in market research. Your personal data is not recorded, so there’s no need to be concerned about privacy.

You just need to download the app and do your usual work.  As long as the app is running, you will earn free money.
